  1. That sure splains a lot, Since the present overlords seem to think the globalist cartel taking over the entire planet is an inevitability anyway, grab for the gusto and hope for the best and a cushy position in the new world wide controllers agenda. Even though they will be relegated to poverty status along with the rest of the masses. Don’t even bother to put up a fight. But why fight for something you don’t believe in anyway, since the sorry pukes haven’t believed in it for the last 150 years anyway. Yeah, our feral gommers have been that corrupt for at least that long.

  2. REALLY don’t see any connection between commercial baby formula and military aid. The fact that those 40 billion dollars likely need to be printed means they are imaginary until they have been produced, unless they are sent in a useful form- like Javelin missiles,or other battlefield fodder , say. Point is, 4o billion in petty cash is NOT just laying around to be made off with. Just Sayin’.

    1. It’s about priorities. But if you don’t think there will be graft involved in the movement of $40B, you’ve not been paying attention.

  3. “A million here and a million there and pretty soon we are talking about real money.” – Sen. Everett Dirksen, R – Ill, 1896-1969

How scary is it that you have to use trillions for that quote not to be quaint nowadays?

  4. We’re many years past looting the Treasury, past maxing out the national credit card, and well into “just print lots of fiat money.”
As I recall, we went from looting the Treasury to borrowing like there was no tomorrow around 2008-ish. Now, just the past couple of years, Modern Monetary Theory is all the rage – or, as I call it (after Kipling), Carboniferous Monetary Theory – “But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy.”
Funny thing, though: “we” don’t have plenty of money. The State has it, and the State’s cronies get it. Somehow, it fails to trickle down to the productive classes: that’s the synthesis of MMT and feudalism, whereby he who makes the rules gets the gold.
